The Framingham Fury is a concept that FYS developed almost 10 years ago with a philosophy and culture built around commitment to improve, commitment to teammates, good sportsmanship, and a desire to play softball at a higher level. The program runs very similarly to a club skill wise, but not schedule wise, and not price wise. It's a wonderful opportunity for players who are ready to be a little more competitive, work harder with like-minded players, and who are committed to improving through highly structured practices and drills. The Summer season typically begins the week of Father’s Day (June 16th) and runs through  July 31st.

Time commitments are generally 3 days a week and include 2 games and 1 practice, although coaches may have additional optional or specialized practices (Pitchers & Catchers).

Teams are created based on the age of your child on September 1, 2023. If you are interested in trying out, please register your child for the appropriate division:

10U eligible players were 10 or younger on 9/1/23
12U eligible players were 12 or younger on 9/1/23
14U eligible players  were 14 or younger on 9/1/23

Through a tryout process, the Fury seeks to put teams together at as many levels as there are kids to play. Rosters must be finalized by Memorial Day Weekend. This year we will be holding our tryouts earlier than previous years to allow for these teams to start earlier.

Teams will be set by 5/15 and available to start practice based on coaches discretion. League play begins mid June following the FYS Spring Season and runs through the end of July.
