Next Pitch is excited to partner with Framingham Softball this summer to offer fun and engaging softball clinics for girls in grades K-3! These sessions will will be run by Next Pitch coaches (with FYS Assistants) and cover all aspects of the game, including hitting, fielding, throwing, and situational play.

Clinic Details

● Who: Open to all softball players in Kindergarten through 3rd grade

● No experience necessary – just come ready to learn and have fun!

● Where: Framingham High School Softball Field

● Dates: Wednesdays – July 9, July 23, August 6, August 20

● Time: 6:00 PM – 7:15 PM 

What to Bring

● Glove

● Water bottle

● Optional: Your own bat and helmet (we will also have plenty available at the field) 

The fall season will be structured by grade level, and act as a continuation of the FYS spring program, giving an opportunity to continue growth and development for all players. The fall is low key competitive and really focused on fun and skill building.

Games/Practice: Sunday's 9:00 am

For our kids in grades K-1, we'll run a similar Instructional program as the Spring that will meet once per week. It will start with a practice and then conclude with a scrimmage. The focus of this division is to teach the fundamentals of softball while making sure the kids have a ton of fun!

For our kids in grades 3-9, we will be forming teams to play in the Metro West league. This league consists of neighboring towns (Ashland, Holliston, Medway, Medfield, Northboro/Southboro, Needham etc) and will require traveling to some "Away" games. Divisions mimic the Metrowest league and are similar to what FYS has done in the past when the registration numbers allowed it.

This division will play 1 game on Saturday's (likely at 4pm) and then practice/scrimmage Wednesdays at 5pm. Any additional practices will be at the discretion of the coaches.

This division will play 1 game on Sunday's at 1pm and then practice once per week either Tuesday's or Thursday's at 5pm . Any additional practices will be at the discretion of the coaches.

Note that for players also on the 12U and 14U Fury teams, the schedule should allow for participation in both leagues.
