
The Framingham Fury is a concept that FYS developed over a decade ago with a philosophy and culture built around commitment to improve, commitment to teammates, good sportsmanship, and a desire to play softball at a higher level. Over the years the program has evolved to offer two levels of programming; a Fall & Summer "Travel" team program and a a "Select" team (USA Softball Class C Club) program.
Teams are created based on the age of your child on September 1 (USA Softball age requirements, use this link to determine age level). If you are interested in trying out, please register your child for the appropriate division:
10U eligible players will be 10 or younger on 9/1 (typically grades 4-5)
12U eligible players will be 12 or younger on 9/1 (typically grades 6-7)
14U eligible players will be 14 or younger on 9/1 (typically grades 8-9)
Fury Select - Club Program
Based on interest and availability, we'll form Select teams through a try out process in late Summer.
Each "Select" team formed will have a player commitment for a full calendar year and a program fee of $800.
The season will be:
Games in a Fall league (typically 6 weeks of Sunday morning double headers)
Participation in one regional tournament, details TBD.
Weekly practices September through late October.
A 12 week Winter training program running January through March, focusing on skill development, strength, agility, and conditioning, with additional skill development for pitchers & catchers.
Spring practices starting once per week in May, twice per week starting in June through July
Participation in 3-4 regional tournaments May-July, details TBD.
Games in the "A division" of a summer league (typically 6 weeks from late June through July; weekdays only)
Through a tryout process, the Fury seeks to put teams together at as many levels as there are kids to play.
Fury - Travel Program
Based on interest and availability, we'll form Travel teams in the Fall & Summer through a try out process - one in late summer and the other in late Spring.

Saturday, August 8th - 2:30 pm - 4:00 pm (Check in at 2:00 pm)

Try out make up date will be Sunday, August 15th at 3:00pm
